New Tenant Information
What's Next...
Once an application is processed and an interview done, the applicants name is put on a waiting list for the desired location and number of bedrooms needed.
When a person's name comes up on the list, it is then offered to the prospective tenant.
They then have 3 days to accept the unit.
A Security Deposit and first month's prorated rent will need to be paid. All utilites are included.
Security Deposits: 1 Bedroom=$400 2 Bedroom=$475 3 Bedroom=$525 4 Bedroom=$600
Pet Deposit: $100 (one pet per household, 20 pounds or under)
The Public Housing Staff and the new tenant will then do a complete inspection of the unit so that both parties are satisfied with its condition.
The process takes about 1 hour from start to finish which is why we have the prospective tenant come in by 3:00 pm.
Please keep in mind that no housing will take place after 3:00 pm.
